About James Mackenzie Flooring

James Mackenzie Flooring is James Mackenzie, a carpet and vinyl fitter based in Dundee with over 30 years' experience. James measures each job himself, supplies the carpet or sheet vinyl and does the fitting, including stairs, landings and rooms wide enough to need a join. There is no showroom; he comes to the house. Laminate, LVT and carpet tiles are sold supply only.

Why choose us

• Stairs and awkward jobs: spiral stairs, landings, and rooms that need thinking through. James advises on the fit before the knife comes out.
• Seamless joins, tidy finish: large rooms, tight edges, and joins you are not meant to notice. The site is left clean.
• Fine carpet and careful handling: high-end carpet and vinyl need patience. The material is fitted properly, not forced.
• Prompt, reliable, recommended: on time, straight answers, and a job that stands up to everyday life. People come back for the next room.
